Real estate

Early 2015, the IPGG will settle in a new building street Jean Calvin. It is an 11 levels building, including 2 underground levels, of a total area of 5900 m2 that will first host five of the fourteen teams of the IPGG:

In addition to these five teams, two teams will be hosted (a call for proposals will be launched in 2013).

All these research teams will occupy floors 3, 4, 6 and 7. On the second floor, an incubator will be able to host 7 companies, while the underground levels will provide meeting rooms, a 156 seats auditorium for lectures and technical rooms.

One of the key features of this project is the presence of a technological platform on the 5th floor, providing a 100 m2 clean room, a 200 m2 gray room, a practical classroom, a microscopy room, a workshop, and a cell culture room. This platform will bring in an only place all the technologies related to microfluidics and thus enable strong interaction between the different members of the IPGG.

The whole project has also been designed around the need for more collaboration between the teams. It encourages contact through the technology platform, but also the large stairwells and conference rooms that will host prestigious events.

At this time, the draft is complete, and the call for tender will be launched by the end of Q2 2013. For more information, please contact Charlotte Bourgeois at
