Two new start-ups founded by IPGG researchers in 2020

Since the beginning of 2020, Carnot IPGG Microfluidics’ teams have enabled the creation of 2 new startups, continuing dynamic of innovation initiated since the foundation of IPGG.

The Micromégas team led by Lydéric Bocquet has thus spun off a start-up called Hummink. This new company offers an innovative solution allowing the additive printing of different suspensions from a modified AFM. This is a versatile new 3D printing technology at the nanoscale.

The Microfluidics, MEMS and Nanostructures team led by Patrick Tabeling and the BioChemistry Laboratory led by Andrew Griffiths have developed a promising new technological solution for single cell, multimodal and spatialized analysis. Single-cell analysis is gaining considerable momentum, but multiplexing the number of analyses while maintaining a high throughput has been the limiting factor until now. The young startup Minos Biosciences will propose the commercialization of its innovative system that combines state-of-the-art microfluidics, molecular biology, image analysis and bioinformatics developed by IPGG Microfluidics researchers.
